Calling all horses . . .

Thursday, 1 December 2016

HORSE owners from across the Causeway Coast and beyond are being invited to Ballymoney to take part in a spectacular Christmas Horse Parade on Saturday December 10. The ambitious event, organised by Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Riding for the Disabled (RDA), promises to be a fantastic fun day for all the family as well as raising money for a "brilliant" cause.
Not only will horses be descending on Ballymoney but Santa will take pride of place at the front being pulled on his sleigh by a Clydesdale.
RDA Director Ms Christine Hanken said: "We really felt because we are a genuinely rural community with such a huge amount of equestrian support in the area, that it would be brilliant to organise a Christmas Horse Parade to help raise money for a brilliant cause, whilst having a bit of fun and creating lots of excitement in Ballymoney in the run up to Christmas.
