Frosses crash victim serious thumbnailLooking up the Frosses Road from the Kilraughts Road roundabout. This stretch of road remained closed all Monday morning, due to a three vehicle Road Traffic Collision not far from the Ballymena Road turnoff.

A WOMAN is seriously ill in the Royal Victoria Hospital after a three vehicle road traffic collision on the Frosses Road near Ballymoney early yesterday (Monday) morning. Two other people remain stable in hospital after the accident, which occurred on a bend in the road between the Kilraughts Road roundabout and the Ballymena Road turnoff into the town.
Four ambulance crews quickly attended the scene where one vehicle appeared to have been thrown up the slope on the Ballymoney town side of the road by the force of the collision.
PSNI Sergeant Julie Swann said: "The collision took place around 7.45am, involving a silver Hyundai i40, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a white Mini. Four people were taken to hospital, where one woman is described as being in a serious condition.
