Black Santa’s delight thumbnailBallymoney's Black Santa, Liam Beckett, with Kellie McNeill and Mayor Maura Hickey, present money to members of CAN at Riada House in Ballymoney. Included from the charity are Hayley, Leanne and Nigel.

BALLYMONEY Black Santa Liam Beckett has expressed his delight that his annual sit out has surpassed the £10,000 mark for the first time.
Liam told the Chronicle he was "over the moon" at the total and "blown away" by people's generosity, adding that the five charities were also "delighted."
Representatives of CAN, Drop Inn Ministries, St Vincent de Paul, the Salvation Army and the Samaritans were at Riada house last week for the cheque presentations.
Liam said: "I am absolutely over the moon with the £10,155 that we raised this year, this is another new record and the first time we have reached five figures.
“I am again blown away by the generosity of people from Ballymoney and further afield, I had contributions come from England this year. Tim McGarry, William Caulfield and Joel Taggart of the BBC all called up to see me.
