‘Can’t cope’ with poop thumbnailThe worst affected section of Queen Street, including a long section of roofless property, that has had scaffolding around it for some time.

"A DISGRACE to the whole town," is what a Queen Street resident is calling the parts of the street left perpetually messed by pigeon droppings. "Disgusting", "I can't cope", "I'm starting to hate living here," she told the Chronicle with a local councillor agreeing that such conditions "shouldn't be acceptable".
The problem is so bad that Causeway Coast and Glens Council (CC&G) have engaged a "specialist pest control company" to deal with the situation.
The resident told The Chronicle: "It's been going on a year and I can't cope with it anymore, I'm starting to hate living here on Queen Street. It's disgusting, it's a disgrace to the whole town.
“There's a B&B across the street I don't know what visitors think, it's a total eyesore."
“The smell is unreal. It's a disgrace trying to push a pram through it, people are slipping and sliding on it, someone is going to slide and hurt themselves.
