Red hot Johnston leads Antrim to final glory

AT Owenbeg Antrim put to bed the myth that other sides in Ulster were closing the gap on their total domination of the Ulster hurling scene when they swept aside a weak challenge from Armagh who were bidding for their first ever Ulster crown, writes Jim Smyth.
This was total domination from trap to line with the gulf in class never more in evidence when Antrim led by by nineteen points at the break with the Orange County scoring on just three occasions in that opening thirty five minutes.
While they did manage ten points in the second half Antrim added two goals and seven points in a game which they totally dominated, despite having only beaten this same outfit in the National league by seven points.
