A BALLYMONEY woman swam an amazing 70 lengths at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre swimming pool in aid of organisation Christians Against Poverty.
Big crowds were in attendance to watch Audrey Shields, who will turn 70 years old next month, swim an impressive 70 lengths on Friday June 30, which raised over 800 and counting for Ballymoney organisation Christians Against Poverty, a church-based group that helps people tackle debt problems through church-based centres.
A keen swimmer, Audrey wanted to raise money in aid of CAP in order to give back something to the community and help those in need. "I realised there was poverty at home on our doorstep and wanted to do something about it.
