Robinson Hospital Trustees hold AGM thumbnail

THE AGM of the Robinson Hospital Board of Trustees took place on June 21 in Ballymoney Health Centre.
The proceedings opened with the President, Mr David Robinson, welcoming the special guests of Mr Owen Harkin (Finance Director of the NHSCT), Briege Donaghy, Director of Planning, Performance Management and Support Services, Pamela Craig, Assistant Director and Lead Divisional Nurse, together with Jackie Elliott, Community Locality Manager, responsible for the Robinson and Dalriada Hospitals. He also welcomed Dr Brian Hunter,Mr Fred Mullan FRCS., and Mr Mervyn Storey MLA., together with members of the Robinson Trust Board and members of the public.
ANNUAL REPORT
Mr Robinson then introduced the Honorary Secretary, Dr.John Johnston, to give the Annual Report. The Honorary Secretary referred to past reports and how it was fascinating to read that in 2009 the Honorary Secretary, then had referred to meetings of the Working Party of the Robinson with the Steering Group members of the NHSCT on several occasions to discuss the provision of a new extension to the Robinson Hospital to include 8 new en-suite rooms. Now some 8 years later the same subject was still under discussion and this after several sets of drawings had been amended and re-drawn.
