BALLYMONEY Post Office staff are encouraging everyone to support their annual fundraising campaign for Cancer Research UK, with multiple events currently taking place.
This year more charity buckets than ever before have been left in local Post Offices and shops, with a street collection taking place in Ballymoney next Friday September 8.
Organiser Mr Adrian Nicholl told The Chronicle that if 2,500 can be raised this year, it will mean that post office staff have raised a massive 45,000 over the 11 years they have been fundraising.
Adrian said: "We are having our many fundraising events again this year, apart from the van pull and I would appeal to the Ballymoney public to dig as deeply and generously as they usually do for this worthwhile charity, Cancer Research.
