Pegasus too good for Ballymoney Seconds thumbnailOlivia McCloy wins possession for Ballymoney Seconds during Saturday’s Junior League One game against Pegasus

BALLYMONEY Second XI found the going tough at home to their Pegasus counterparts at the weekend, with the game ending 5-0 to the visitors.
Pegasus showed their intent from the start, dominating possession and creating chances, though the Ballymoney defence held firm for most of the opening half.
However, the pressure finally told, Pegasus scoring just before the break to lead 1-0 at half-time.
Pegasus continued in a similar vein in the second period and doubled their lead within three minutes of the restart.
Further pressure followed, along with two further goals, as Pegasus eased into a 4-0 lead.
Coleraine Seconds enjoyed periods of possession of their own and created a number of chances which they failed to convert into goals.
Pegasus had no such problems, however, and scored a fifth goal late on to seal a comfortable win.
The Ballymoney side were left feeling slightly deflated with the end result but confident that they can move forward and focus on their match this weekend.
