ST BRIGID'S Primary School has launched their new library and learning resources, which will help students improve their literacy skills and promote reading!
Speaking to school principal Lawrence O'Kane, the school is excited to re-launch the school's library.
He said: "We're delighted to have be able to give our library a much-needed facelift. We've invested a considerable amount of money into new books and have renewed our Accelerated Reading (AR) licence for another three years at a cost over of £2,000 which, given budget constraints at present, is a considerable investment for St Brigid's.
“We are also re-establishing our "home connect", which means that once boys and girls do an AR quiz in school, parents are able to know via email how their children perform in tests."
