A 36 YEAR old man arrested by detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of another man, whose body was discovered at an address on Townhill Road in Rasharkin on Sunday October 22, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are still appealing for information regarding the death of the man aged in his 50s, with Detective Chief Inspector Peter Montgomery saying:
“I would like to hear from anyone who was in the Townhill Road area between 10am on Saturday October 21 and 10am on Sunday October 22. Please could anyone with information get in contact with detectives on 101, or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
Sinn Féin MLA Philip McGuigan has said the community are in shock after passing of the unnamed man.
The North Antrim MLA said, "The local community has been left in shock by this news. I express my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the man and would urge anyone with information to bring it to the PSNI."
