GLEBE Rangers will fly the flag for local amateur league football when the draw for the fifth round of the Tennent's Irish Cup is held next week.
Goals from centre forward Chrissy Nicholl and team-mate Ian Christie against Annagh United at the weekend booked Glebe's place in the next stage.
It follows an opening round victory against Bangor FC and a three-goal thumping of Rosemount Rec FC before Glebe was handed a bye in the third round. The Ballymoney Club's promising run means that they are one of just a handful of lower league sides remaining in the tournament.
The fifth round of the Tennent's Irish Cup draw will be held at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast next Tuesday.
Boss Jason Wilmont admits that the dream scenario would be for his side to be pulled out of the hat to play high-flying Irish League outfit, Coleraine.
