THE VILLAGE of Dunloy has been left "stunned" after a father-of-two died in a road traffic collision on his way back from work, on Tuesday November 28.
57-year old Anthony McGhee, believed to be from Hawthorne Crescent in Dunloy, died as a result of his injuries after he was involved in a two-car collision on the A26 Crankill Road, at its junction with the Kildowney Road, at approximately 6.30pm.
Police are currently appealing for witnesses who were in the vicinity at the time of the collision and are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white van believed to be in the area at the time. Witnesses are asked to contact Police on 101 and quote reference 1084 of 28/11/2017.
North Antrim Sinn Féin MLA Philip McGuigan has expressed his deep sadness and shock at the news of the tragic passing of Anthony McGhee.
