BALLYMONEY mum in a million Isobel Milliken is determined to make memories with her loved ones this Christmas after being told it could be her last.

She said: "I adore Christmas but I don't remember any of it last year; this year will be very different and I intend to spend it making memories with my family."
Like every year, Isobel's Carnany Court home was decorated in style for the festive season last year when she was rushed into hospital on December 15.
She said: "I had a pain down my right side and thought it was just a cold. I don't remember anything after that but I was put into an induced coma to give my lungs a rest and the next day my kidneys failed."
Isobel's family were called to the hospital on December 16. Her husband Ronald recalled: "She was really ill and on life support for three weeks; on Christmas Day a doctor said he didn't think Isobel would survive.
