A BALLYMONEY milliner's hat-making talents shone through during the annual 'Hatwalk' charity event at Londonderry's Everglades Hotel.
Fee McToal came second in the Established Milliner category, despite facing competition from milliners working in the industry for many more years.
Hatwalk Irish Millinery Design Award takes place each year to help raise funds for Brain Tumour Research and increase awareness of the charity's "Wear a Hat Day" on March 29.
This year was a little different for Fee as she had previously won Audience Choice and secured third place in the Upcoming Milliner section. She was asked to participate with a collection of headpieces for the catwalk and provide a table of her work for the audience to examine.
With brief in one hand and millinery block in the other, she began creating while mingling with fellow milliners and new upcoming designers. A variety of milliners showcased their work on the catwalk before the time came for the announcement of the finalists.
