Gulf BMW to make North West 200 bow thumbnail

ONE of motorsport's most iconic liveries will be on show at next month's Vauxhall International North West 200 when David Johnson makes his road racing debut on board the Gulf BMW.
The Australian, who has raced for the Norton factory team for the past two years, will ride S1000RR BMWs in the famous orange and blue colours in the superbike and superstock races at the north coast track.
"I'm ready to get the ball rolling again at the North West," said Johnson, who missed out 12 months ago.
"I'm aiming for the podium at the North West - but I definitely want it to stay dry!" he added.
