McAuley is a real sharp shooter thumbnail

COLERAINE man Gareth McAuley claims winning a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Australia is 'a dream come true.'
The 25-year-old won bronze in the Men's Skeet event on Monday, the second medal ion 24 hours for Northern Ireland following gymnast Rhys McClenaghan's gold on the pommel horse on Sunday.
"It's unbelievable," said the Route Gun Club member.
"I never expected to win a medal - it's a dream come true really."
In a tense final, McAuley hit 45 of his 50 targets to finish third behind gold medallist Georgios Achilleos and runner-up, Wales's Ben Llewellin.
