Henry relaxed ahead of Glens decider thumbnailDesi Henry is the odds-on favourite to lift the Irish Forest title in his Skoda Fabia R5.

THE destination of the 2016 Valvoline Irish Forest Rally Championship drivers' title will be decided on this weekend's River Ridge Recycling Glens of Antrim Rally outside Ballycastle.
A three-car fight will be played out at the Mid Antrim Motor Club event as Desi Henry, Gerard Lucey and Michael Carbin have all entered the North Antrim finale. Skoda Fabia R5 ace Henry missed out on the trophy in 2014 and says he is determined to make amends second time round. "We know what we have to do and it's much simpler than last time," he told Chronicle Sport. "If we end up somewhere in the top 10 that should be enough regardless of what Gerard or Michael do.
“It's a shame it's being decided on our home rally because I would really love to be fighting for the victory: in many ways I am between a rock and a hard place.
“The plan is to go as hard as we need to without taking risks. I came close to winning the championship before and I don't want to lose it to something stupid."
