AN UNCHANGED Ballymoney First XV handed out a lesson in rugby to visiting side Belfast High School Former Pupils on Saturday, writes Chris McIlmoyle.
Only a handful of minutes were on the clock when the JKC BMW-sponsored side got the first of their tries at Kilraughts Road.
Speaking afterwards, coaches Jonny Hanna and James Clelland said they were delighted to record another winning performance.
“We started the game with a very high intensity, bringing the structures we had worked on in training to the fore today and we never gave them a chance to get into the game," they said. "With the points secured early on it gave us an opportunity to keep working on our moves and we carried them out to great effect. We have a difficult away trip to Virginia this week followed by PSNI after Christmas so we want to keep this high level of performance up. Our opponents were literally unchanged from our first league game so today it has shown us how far we have improved from the start of the season but this is because of the hard work on the training field."
