THE River Ridge sponsored Ballymoney Fourths continued their good recent form against derby rivals Coleraine scoring five tries without reply to retain the Robinson Cup in the now annual Boxing Day fixture.
The early part of the game was an evenly contested affair as both sides' defences held firm and thwarted the opposition's attack.
It quickly became apparent that the battle up front was going to play a critical part in the outcome of this match.
The game, looking scoreless as we headed for half-time, took a major swing in the home side's favour.
The referee, confirming that we were two minutes from the interval, awarded Coleraine a scrum on their own 22 metre line.
Ballymoney pressurised the Coleraine ball and took the scrum against the head.
