Michael Dunlop signs new deal with ‘dream team’ thumbnailHawk Racing boss Steve Hicken and Michael Dunlop with the Bennetts Suzuki GSX-R1000 superbike that Dunlop will race on the roads in 2017.

MICHAEL Dunlop will return to the 'big three' international race meetings this coming season using Suzuki machinery for the first time.
Dunlop will ride the GSX-R1000 in the British Superbike Championship in April before debuting it on the roads at the North West 200.
The Bennetts liveried bike is also heading to the Isle of Man for the TT and Southern 100 before it sees action at the Ulster Grand Prix.
The deal sees Dunlop renew his successful partnership with the Hawk Racing Team's father and son owners, Stuart and Steve Hicken.
What has yet to be decided by the twenty seven-year-old, however, is the bikes he will campaign at national meetings across Ireland.
“I'm back with the dream team for another wee spin," said Dunlop, who got his first taste of the Suzuki at Mallory Park late last week before he travelled to Spain for tests at Cartagena and Almeria. "It's good for me and Steve because the team has full factory support.
“I know Steve and I know Stuart and I know that they can take a new bike and get it right," added Dunlop. "This is a good team and there is a very good link with Yoshimura. I have been helping the team build my own bikes, so it is going to be interesting this year."
