Try Bowls hailed a great success at Ballybrakes thumbnailThe winning Try Bowls team captain Ivan Lynn with Jack, Samantha and Harry from Lislagan Primary School.

TRY Bowls finished its second run in at Ballybrakes Community Indoor Bowling Stadium with seventeen school children enjoying target bowls, target wedges and driving targets.
Children were split into three teams with scores totted up over the four weeks and, remarkable, all teams finished on twenty four points.
However, it was Ivan Lynn's team that prevailed in the all-important decider and were crowned the overall winners.
The winning team was presented with their trophies with the runners-up also receiving prizes for taking part. "Organisers hope to continue with the Junior Bowls and further details will be released once they are finalised," revealed a Ballybrakes spokesperson.
Meanwhile, Coleraine Masonic held their annual Bobby Ross Charity bowling match against a Ballybrakes team. A great afternoon of bowling was had by all with 250 raised for the charity to assist Coleraine, Altnagelvin and Letterkenny hospitals' children's wards.
