BANNSIDERS boss Oran Kearney is unlikely to alter his team too much for Saturday's Danske Bank Premiership clash away to Glenavon - a dress rehearsal for the Tennent's Irish Cup semi-final between the two clubs at the start of next month.
Criticised in some quarters for shuffling his pack in a number of league games in the run-up to the League Cup semi-final defeat to Ballymena Utd it seems the manager may not be so experimental this time around.
Of course, it helps that he has an almost full-strength squad to choose from whereas before he was mindful of players picking up suspensions while there is also no doubt he wants to maintain the momentum built up by a run of 11 games without loss.
On the other hand, he may want to give some players a run-out with three games in seven days before the cup meeting with the Lurgan Blues.
Strikers James McLaughlin and Jordan Allan have been kept on the sidelines by the goalscoring feats of Eoin Bradley and Jamie McGonigle while midfielders Ian Parkhill and Neil McCafferty have seen little game time thanks to the continuing good form of Ciaron Harkin and Brad Lyons.
Central defenders Gareth McConaghie (suspended) and Steven Douglas (rested) were absent from Saturday's squad, meaning Oran has a nice headache approaching the business end of the season. "I hope the boys are coming to the boil," said Oran.
