GLENS of Antrim Rally bosses have issued an impassioned appeal to anyone spectating at Saturday's event to make safety their number one priority.
And they have warned that any reckless or stupid behaviour will not be tolerated and could even lead to the cancellation of a stage if it is necessary.
New rules handed down by the Motor Sports Association, the governing body of four-wheel events across the UK, means there is no room for failure.
The competition's Assistant Clerk of the Course has spent the past number of months working closely with MSA officials to fine tune the safety plan.
“It is crucial for the rally, Mid Antrim Motor Club, and the future of our sport that it runs safely and passes off without incident," said Jimmy Graham.
