Competitive games again this weekend

ROUND Six of the 15 rounds of the H&A Mechanical Division One will take place over the weekend.
So far, it has been highly competitive with all colours of cards being flashed as teams jockey for position.
For a number, it is the case of holding their ground and for the more ambitious ones, looking for a league title.
Bellaghy v Ballinderry, Saturday May 13 at 4.30pm: These two teams have collected nearly half the county titles between them in the last 40 years and in that time they have built up a keen rivalry. As such, there is always a keen edge between them and this will be no different. Their last meaningful meeting was in the championship last September and Ballinderry got through narrowly. They will be favourites for success in this one as well. Bellaghy simply do not have the riches of the past and Ballinderry are progressing nicely under their new management duo of Mark Harte and Adrian O'Donnell.
