Scott Campbell inspires Bannsiders to good home win thumbnail

ON a day curtailed by rain, Coleraine hosted Railway Union from Dublin in the Irish Senior Cup.
The start was delayed for two hours due to persistent light rain but when the skies eventually cleared it was Railway Union who won the toss and elected to field for a match reduced to 37 overs per side.
Openers Scott Campbell and Marcus Poskitt looked comfortable against an easy paced attack and quickly posted another 50 partnership.
Poskitt, at sixteen years, didn't look out of his depth at this level and even though he pulled a top edge to be caught at fine leg on fifteen, he proved the ideal foil for the in-form Cambell.
The next two partnerships were short lived as first Steve Lazars got out and Tim Chopra had to retire hurt (hamstring).
