Antrim one win away from All-Ireland berth thumbnail

WINNING next month's Christy Ring Cup final at Croke Park will send out a clear message that Antrim means business in this season's All-Ireland Championship.
That's according to county stalwart Neil McManus who helped his side overcome Down on Saturday to set up the mouth-watering tie with Carlow on June 10.
It will be the fourth time in as many months the two sides will have faced off - with Antrim winning on the last occasion to secure their return to Division 1B.
Having already achieved promotion and won the Ulster Senior Championship for the sixteenth year running, the Saffrons remain on course for a historic treble.
“At the start of the year winning these three competitions was the aim," McManus told Chronicle Sport, "but we know beating Carlow is not going to be easy.
