Cool Cronin sets up British decider thumbnail

AS rally victories go there probably won't be one more convincing than what Keith Cronin produced on the Ulster International Rally, the penultimate round of this year's MSA British Rally Championship.
Cronin notched up his first win of the 2017 campaign on Belgian Tarmac earlier this summer but his latest success was even more impressive and thrusts him into a three-way fight for the drivers' title.
Although Cronin claims he has "an outside chance" on the Isle of Man everything is to play for there, with the favourite Fredrik Ahlin and Osian Pryce the only two who can deny him a fourth British crown.
“It's a great feeling to win it," reflected Cronin, whose last success on the Ulster was back in 2012. "These stages and the conditions were to my liking, and the test we had before the rally really helped.
