14-man Coleraine beaten at the death

COLERAINE had to be content with a losing bonus point in their match against Instonians as they returned to Division One at the weekend.
It was a very close run game and it was only in the dying moments that Instonians snatched the winning try and a one point victory at 18 points to 17.
Coleraine held a 17-3 advantage at the break and although they frustrated many of the home side's advances it was a last minute try, whilst Coleraine were reduced to 14 men, that sealed the game.
The Kukri Ulster Rugby Championship is sure to deliver lots of fascinating games this season as ten evenly matched teams fight for the honours.
Just how close was evident with three of the four matches on Saturday ending with losing bonus points being won, two of them with only one point difference between the teams.
