Champions set to face Cushendall thumbnail

HOLDERS Loughgiel will meet Cushendall in the Antrim Senior Hurling Championship in a fortnight's time after the two sides made it safely through the quarter-final stage.
The Shamrocks recorded a comprehensive victory over a lacklustre Creggan while it was a similar story for the Ruairi Ogs who steamrolled Cloughmills in a one-sided affair.
It means there will be no repeat of last year's final when the two teams met and that whoever wins the mouth-watering tie will be the favourites to go on and lift the title.
There were no surprises in the other two fixtures, with both McQuillans Ballycastle and Dunloy Cuchullains getting the better of Rossa and St John's respectively. A late penalty was needed to book the Town's place in the last four, however, with the ever reliable Ciaran Clarke on hand to deliver the all-important score right at the death.
