IN winning the 2017 British championship at Tullyroan on Sunday, John Christie completed the set of winning all the National Hot Rod major titles (World, National, European, and Irish Open) in his racing career.
The public draw for the 2017 National Hot Rod British Championship threw up the mouth-watering prospect of two of the sports top talents alongside each other for Heat One.

A race stoppage was called for and four cars were eliminated from the restart with damage, including Keith Martin, Les Compelli, Chris Crane and Andy Stewart.
