BALLYMONEY'S Third XI took on Mossley in the first round of the Junior Cup at the Joey Dunlop Centre on Saturday.
The hosts began the game with a high tempo and were unlucky not to go ahead after some positive attacking play.
Mossley, though, were just as hungry for the win and put Ballymoney's defence of Shirley, Diane, Emma and Judith under real pressure. Jill Huey made some outstanding saves, though, to keep the scores level as half-time neared.

Ballymoney, with some encouraging support from the sidelines, raised their heads and carried on. They were unlucky to concede another goal shortly afterwards but came right back with an outstanding goal from defender Shirley.
