JONNY Greer paid tribute to his team after winning the 2017 Northern Ireland Rally Championship.
Greer did enough on the final round of the series to score a maiden title in his R5-spec Citroen DS3.
But he said it would not have been possible without the work of his mechanics behind the scenes.
His car has proven troublesome this year with the French machine only fully fixed for August's Ulster Rally with its electrics and engine the Achilles heel. "The team have done a fantastic job," said Greer. "This title is for them. They've put in a phenomenal amount of effort to finally sort the Citroen out.
“We have had a lot of disappointments in the British Rally Championship this year but this more than makes up for it. Credit to Derek McGarrity, though, as he really made us fight for it. That makes it even better."
