BALLYCASTLE pool player Jason McBride has been named in the EBA European Championship team for a record eleventh time, with expectations that he can challenge for trophies on three fronts.
McBride is set to represent Northern Ireland in the Individual, Team and Speed Pool competitions at the annual event, which is being staged in Bridlington in England at the start of April.
The 31-year-old's best performances at the tournament came in 2010 and 2011 when he reached consecutive finals and the council worker is determined to repeat those highs this year.
One of twenty five players picked for the squad, McBride heads to the EBA European Championships in buoyant mood having clinched the prestigious Castle Cup at the Carrickfergus Cup Pool.
