We must do better, says McKinley thumbnailAntrimís defeat at the hands of Laois has given Dominic McKinley plenty to think about in the run up to Sundayís visit of Limerick in the National League. WK08058

ANTRIM boss, Dominic McKinley, has promised to carry out a root and branch review following his side's narrow defeat away to Laois in the National Hurling League.
The Saffrons were in the game for large parts at Portlaoise thanks to another inspired display by ex-captain Neil McManus only to see the points slip from their grasp.
In the forty seventh minute the Cushendall man helped narrow the gap to five points, but that was as close as Antrim would get to causing an upset on this occasion.
Following their 'bitterly disappointing' performance, McKinley has called on his players to raise their game in the run up to Sunday's clash with table toppers Limerick.
A win is essential if McKinley's Antrim hope to retain its Division 1B status after losing by three points to Galway and by one point to Dublin earlier in the competition.
