BALLYMONEY junior swimmers made it two wins from two starts in the Forest Feasts Aquasprints League.
Their first Gala was away to Sliabh Beagh in Monaghan and despite the long journey, Ballymoney had nineteen first places and a phenomenal seventy one Personal Best time. The most noteworthy came from Olivia Murray, who took 26.93 seconds off her breaststroke time and Izzy Borthwick who improved her butterfly time by 24.69 seconds.
In the second round Ballymoney hosted Mid Ulster. Again, they had 22 first places and 53 Personal Best times with Finlay Hughes taking 12.26 seconds off his breaststroke time and Richard McAfee taking 10.01 seconds off his breaststroke time.
Meanwhile, on February 25, ten Ballymoney swimmers competed in the 'Templemore Minor Gala' held in Lisburn Leisureplex.
In the morning session there was some impressive swimming by Leanne Balmer, Charlie Wilkinson and Harris Fleming.
