Dunlop set to stay with Suzuki thumbnailMichael Dunlop enjoyed success with Suzuki at last year’s Isle of Man TT Races. WK10050

MICHAEL Dunlop is expected to ride in Suzuki colours this season after joining in at a pre-season test in Spain last week.
Dunlop got the opportunity to clock  up a number of laps on the Buildbase Suzuki GSX-R in the sunshine of Cartagena in the south of the country.
Although Dunlop has yet to make an official  announcement about his plans for the year ahead, his presence at the track is the strongest hint yet that he will remain with Suzuki.
If that is the case the 28-year-old will fly the flag for the Japanese manufacturer in the Superbike and Superstock classes at the 'big three' events in 2018: the North West 200,  Isle of Man TT and the Ulster Grand Prix.
The rumour mill has been working overtime the past few weeks, with Dunlop linked to a number of other teams, including BMW.
Last month World Supersport outfit PTR  confirmed that they will  prepare a CBR600R Supersport Honda for Dunlop which is expected to brake cover at May's North West 200.
