NIFL tribute to title rivals thumbnailGlenavon manager Gary Hamilton and Ballymena Utd boss David Jeffrey, seen here embracing following Saturday’s goalless draw between the two clubs at Mourneview Park.

REPRESENTATIVES of the NI Football League - which looks after the Danske Bank Premiership -  have made provision for all eventualities on the final day of the league season this Saturday.
Crusaders and Coleraine are locked together on points at the top of the table, with the north Belfast club holding a slight advantage courtesy of a superior goal difference.
Both play their final game away from home - Crusaders are at Ballymena United while Coleraine travel to  Lurgan to take on Glenavon - leading to an organisational headache for league organisers NIFL.
Put simply, Coleraine must better the result of Stephen Baxter's men if they are to land a first Gibson Cup since 1974 and only the second in the club's 90 year history.
“We are currently conducting site visits at both the Ballymena Showgrounds and Mourneview Park and will be able to confirm plans on Tuesday," a NIFL spokesperson confirmed on Monday.
“However, the plan currently is to have flexibility to present the Gibson Cup at either ground following the outcome of the title race at the earliest availability."
It's the closest title race in years and has led to unprecedented interest in the top tier of local football.
"It's been a superb title race from start to finish and we go into the final game of the season with the Danske Bank Premiership in the balance," continued the NIFL spokesperson.
“Credit to both clubs who have made this one of the best seasons in years and either Crusaders or Coleraine will be worthy winners of the Gibson Cup come Saturday evening."
